Stainless Steel Welding Preparation

1. Welding materials Welding wire: H1Cr18Ni9Ti φ1, φ1.5, φ2.5, φ3 Welding wire should have the quality certificate of the manufacturer, and the collection and distribution of welding materials should be managed by the welding material administrator. The welding wire should be cleaned of oil rust and other contaminants before use to expose the metallic luster. 

2. The argon gas bottle should have a factory qualified label, its purity is ≥99.95%, the flow rate used is 6-9 liters/min, the argon gas in the gas bottle cannot be used up, and the residual pressure in the bottle must not be lower than 0.5MPa, To ensure the purity of argon filling. 

3. Welding tools 

3.1. DC electric welding machine is used. We use two types of welding machines, WSE-315 and TIG400. 3.2. The selected argon decompression flowmeter should open and close freely without air leakage. Remember not to open the flowmeter first and then the gas cylinder, which will cause the high-pressure airflow to rush to the low pressure and damage the flowmeter; when closing, turn off the flowmeter first and then the argon cylinder. 

3.3. The rubber tube for conveying argon gas shall not be used in series with the rubber tube for conveying other gases, and a new oxygen rubber tube can be used instead, and the length shall not exceed 30 meters. 

4. Other tools Welders should have hand hammers, sandpaper, flat shovels, wire brushes, electric grinding tools, etc. for slag removal and elimination.
